After seeing Lego The Movie it makes LCU a goodsend in animation...

While watching this at the cinema today most of the movement was all stop motion so it looked so much stiffer than the CGI animation used on this game. I am only hoping the adaption of the movie when it comes out in game format is more fluid than the movie was.

Who else agrees that the designs were too stiff like robot chicken but the story was overall awesome.

The stop motion look was intentional. They could have easily done one that looked like Lego City Undercover, but chose not to. And I think in the context of the end of the movie, it makes sense to go the way they did.

That's part of the problem for me. The live action parts at the end felt kind of tacked on, and made the movie seem somewhat preachy. That, and it killed the pacing
