Boom. Full on open world sandbox RPG a la GTA and the original Wii U LCU this is a prequel to. Looks fantastic and funny, too.

It's looking great so far, can't wait to play it.

I must have watched a different video.

Because while LEGO City Undercover on the WIi U look amazing...this looks like a typical TTFusion game.

Anyone who's played their handheld ports will know what I'm talking about when it comes to their attention to detail and quality work (or lack thereof), open world or not.

The humor and story do seem on point, though on the bright side.

If the reviews for the Wii U game are good, I'm positive this will be too. They don't seem too different.

That said, The Chase Begins is now on my radar! Looks like it'll be a good thing to hold me over until Animal Crossing, and getting a Wii U.

I'm pretty sure the Wii U game will be good/get good review; it looks great.

I wouldn't base the Wii U reviews as representative of this game, though.

The two, while similar in premise, are made by two entirely different developers.

The two games are both made by the same developer - TT Fusion.

There's a great interview and an impressions article on the Wii U game up on Nintendo Life now. Game's looking fantastic. Hopefully we'll see some more coverage on the 3DS game soon too, and how its length stacks up - the main story alone is said to be around 40-50 hours in the Wii U game, though they constantly tempt you with other things to pursue instead, there's so much to do in the game.
