I pretty much went straight through the story and did other stuff as I saw it and I finished the main story already at about 7 hours and only about 16% completion. Then the game glitched up and shut off after the credits.
I liked the game ok, but I admit I was expecting more. The game holds your hand so much going through the story I didn't really feel the thrill of discovery. The cut scene humor was pretty good though.
I'm not sure if I'm going to go for 100% or not, if it feels too much like a chore I'll probably leave off for awhile. I'm going to play the WiiU game soon and I expect a better experience.
I actually got the Wii U game at release, but at the time I was busy with ZombiU and then I decided I would probably be much better off playing the 3DS prequel first so I wouldn't be quite so disappointed if I had played it after.
I'm actually enjoying hunting for the remaining items more than the actual story lol.
Well, made 100% in a bit under 20 hr. Again, the game is good, especially considering its an open-world game on a handheld. Still, it doesn't compare to what's available on consoles and really left me wishing it was more fleshed out. Considering the load times, though, they probably pushed the limits of the 3DS about as far as it could go.
the 3DS does not the space capacity the Wii U has (25 Gigs.) it's short because of of the limited space of the 3DS. (average game runs about 1-2 Gigs) Comparing the 2 games just isn't fair.
You have to fit all languages (French, Spanish and English) fit all sounds, (walking, swimming, ambient sounds, fighting sounds, etc) fit all the pre-rendered cutscenes fit all building, stud location, token locations, scripted events and a whole bunch of other stuff
It may be short but there is a variety of things to do.
They easily could have thrown something together in 2 months and sold just as many but they really cared about 3DS version.
