The Blops2 trailer looks like GR Future Soldier, but appearances can be deceiving. Yes, they both are in the near future, but if Future Soldier and GRO have similar online then they wont be like CoD.

GRO, if you watch the game play and understand the missions for the online, has a set purpose where kills help your final score a little, but the goal is the more important part of what is going on.

GRO is also based around group tactics and not some yahoo running around and shooting things up to get things done. Those lines you see connecting players lets you know where your squad mates are on top of the the indicator that you are receiving a bonus by being near your squad.

Also, I doubt they will have kill streak rewards where you get to call in air support or some other thing happens when you get a bunch of kills.

Anyway, watch some youtube videos, pay attention to how bad some games go when everyone is everywhere without a focus and how smooth things go when squad based tactics are actually used.

However, the recon class is the exception to this, sort of. There are some very successful recon videos where they are off on their own, kind of the point(recon), but they cant win the scenario on their own and are only a tipping force when your team is there backing you up.

This sounds great! Do we get these perks and unlockable guns still?

Perks? Each class will have their own special features that will have to be purchased. Guns? Each class has gun options that I would imagine would be generally unique to that class which will unlock over time and be purchasable through their earned cash system or pay to play feature.

Thus you can grind to success or pay to get earlier success.

However, I have no idea if your cash goes to a general pool to purchase gear for any class or you must play the class to earn the points for that class.

You're money is account-wide. If you make a bunch of money with your Recon, you can buy Specialist equipment with it, and so on.
