I'm not a "master ninja" but i had no problems getting through Sigma 2, died a few times but nothing major to the point as to get me stuck.

NG3RE on the other hand, it's been a struggle during some fights. I think it's the cheap attempts at overwhelming the player that doesn't quite work too well in my opinion.

NGS2 was challenging but if you didn't button mash you were good to go. NG3RE on the other hand just feels impossibly random. That helicopter fight in stage 2 for example is just retarted and it doesn't help that the Pad shoulder buttons are worse than the Xbox360's infamous d-pad.

I lost count how many times i got hit by a missile because the shoulder buttons didn't aways register the input, so you can't fire n' dodge right after.

Then there's the helicopter flying by and still hitting you even though you slid under at the right section at the right time.

I NEED A EFFIN BREAK

Quite understandable ninja brother, that section of the game is frustrating and annoying because of the poor targeting system and input lag. Try and limit the number of arrows fired down to just a couple each opportunity to attack so you're not caught in any lag and have mobility available to dodge the new incoming rocket/laser volley, and since the camera never seems to stay on the boss much as long as there are soldiers to target, keep your ears sharp and listen for the boss' attack and be ready for possible charges or bombing runs. Good luck.

Each area has a pattern or rhythm to discover. Ive seen nothing unfair at all in 6 days in game time. There are challenges, and they require you to step it up and handle it, be attentive and be a ninja.

I'm well into Ultimate Ninja at the moment and I can say that this game is loaded with BS that only spamming and exploits are the answer for.

Ive been trying to tell you

thats why i hate this game, unless they actually make an AI, it will never be good. Somethings are just plain broken

If an enemy jumps at me and attacks, how is he rolling like he was on the floor the whole time? and or block of that matter.

The Baret guys looks like glitched out rabbits flip dodging and trying to attack at the same time in an impossible way.

Doku shouldnt be able to get hit only once every 5secs with 2milliong health. BTW he can block unblockables, also he can parry you in the air and make you appear on the floor.

Im sure you've met the spec ops ninja that do that cartwheel kick that:
1 - doesnt need to hit you to actually "hit" you
2 - guard breaks and chip damages you at the same time causing an unblockable and undodgable instance.

Auto-correct is a truly broken AI

So i just spin around with the scythe because we know what happens if you try to actually fight the way your supposed to

Well, it's my opinion that the Ninja Gaiden games have been getting easier since the first one. That is probably just because I've played them all to death. But Ninja Gaiden 2004 was much harder than Ninja Gaiden Black. Ninja Gaiden 2 was kinda garbage in general in terms of difficulty, but not terrible. Ninja Gaiden 3 isn't too bad, but I never felt like I had to use any major exploits. The final boss was kinda crap and the boss of Day 6 Ryu was cheap, but just normal soldiers have never really bothered me. Just block a lot and don't get greedy with the combos when you miss.

NG2 was much, much, much harder than Sigma 2. I 1250'd NG2, loved it. Sigma 2 was boring on MNM with the 1 hit deaths.

That said, I'm so ready to play this game, as long as it plays similar to 2 or Sigma 2. I couldn't stand vanilla 3.
