I just received the update for Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge.. any ideas what was the update contains of? it's too bad that the website doesn't tell what it was...

No one knows what it does.

All I know is it's version 1.2.1 of the game and that's it.

Hopefully they tone down the infinite doges and blocking that enemies and bosses seem to like using. It just makes the games less fun, when players have to resort to cheap and repetitive moves.

Yeah the bosses are still cheapasses.

But I was able to beat some trials I wasn't able to before.

Whether I improved or they balanced things out is still subject to question.

If Kasumi gets unlocked with this one.... copied from other thread here on the same page:

"- added Kasumi
- fixed freeze glitch on Day 2 bosses
- reset and fixed leaderboards for chapter challenge
- according to some the enemies have become better at defending themselves

- improved framerate

^ the last one is a bit weird as several report better framerate, some report worse framerate and some even report having a lot of freezes after the update o.O"

PS

Enemy placement has been altered a bit here and there as well. No purple fiends in day 2 Normal anymore.

From the last update, with the new character, they made the enemies and bosses even more dodge crazy. A bit nervous if this update made it even more annoying.

That's a lie lol. Kasumi was added in weeks ago with a different update. Team Ninja released a brand new one today, as in, 1/8/13.

The people making topics about the update weren't exactly clear on what update they were talking about hence my "If Kasumi gets unlocked with this one...." part. Maybe not entirely clear as English is not my native language, but I figured people had enough intelligence to figure out what I meant.
But the comments above made it clear it was a new update, so no need for your response.

Next time please think and properly read a post (if you can that is) before calling people a liar. *hits ignore button*

I miss the Sigma 2 boards....

Anyway, I'm hoping they fix this:

- move list popping up almost everytime when you select a new weapon, saw it in Benedict's playthrough and that's just sloppy
- add invite option
- further improving framerate and hopefully a better slide

I noticed while doing Ayane's Izuna drop she moves much faster and slams enemies to the ground at lightning speed. Framerate is definitely improved!

On the NG1 themed Blimp stage, there seems to to a slight but noticeable frame rate improvement. Not sure if they removed or lower the graphic's detail to achieve this, but it does play a bit better.

The regular enemies also seem to run faster. Either that or they can change their running direction faster by reading our button presses like they do with their non-stop dodging.
