I trust them more than Nintendo, simply because Nintendo has been only casual scum during the Wii era, at least they changed that with the Wii U. But Namco is a 100% trustable company, with the great guys from Tekken developing the game, this will turn out very good, and will be full of heaviness without a doubt.

Only? ONLY?!
Look, a great deal were casual, but you can't say it's been ONLY that!

I trust them more than Sakurai after the abomination known as Brawl.

They'll make sure the game has playable online, so that's a plus.

Yes because of Soul Calibur 2.

No, they'll SABOTAGE the game.

Wait, Dedekong didn't leave the board, did he? I haven't seen him recently.

Yup.

They made Tekken.

I would personally like it if they removed the percentage and put health bars instead but that's never going to happen. Either way, Smash may actually be considered a legitimate fighting game this time around while still maintaining it's casual nature for new players.

I think a good and fair alternative would be to make health bars an option, but the percentages the norm. Assigning characters health values and balancing them properly can't be particularly difficult, and they could use health bars to encourage lengthier, more strategy-heavy matches.

I'd enjoy seeing this, myself.

Yeah they have a great history with fighting games for the most part, and Sakurai"s involved so it will still have the feel of a Smash Broa game

I trust Namco way more than I trust Game Arts. Under Sakurai's direction and with enough time/budget, I'm sure there's nothing to get worried about.

To tell the truth, most games suffer because the teams don't have enough money.

Also, I think Nintendo chose Namco because they've got a lot of HD experience.
