I trust them more than Nintendo, simply because Nintendo has been only casual scum during the Wii era, at least they changed that with the Wii U. But Namco is a 100% trustable company, with the great guys from Tekken developing the game, this will turn out very good, and will be full of heaviness without a doubt.
*spittake* Only? ONLY?! Look, a great deal were casual, but you can't say it's been ONLY that! --- OH. BANANA. <Last remaining Mario fan>

They'll make sure the game has playable online, so that's a plus. --- The Platypus, the reason games like spore exist.

They made Tekken.
I would personally like it if they removed the percentage and put health bars instead but that's never going to happen. Either way, Smash may actually be considered a legitimate fighting game this time around while still maintaining it's casual nature for new players. --- Koalas are cool (>^_^<) Hey girl hey!

I think a good and fair alternative would be to make health bars an option, but the percentages the norm. Assigning characters health values and balancing them properly can't be particularly difficult, and they could use health bars to encourage lengthier, more strategy-heavy matches.
