One can not help but imagine Microsoft as being ran by a thousand Homer Simpsons. -Obturator

Cool. I mean, as much as I hated that cartoon as a kid (and still think it's horrendous), I do like the characters and concepts. I have to wonder, though... who holds the rights to Captain N? I think he started as a character in Nintendo Power long before he even had a cartoon, didn't he?

I'm pretty sure Nintendo owns the rights to Captain N.

But it would be amazing to see the return of Simon Belmond. Between him, Mega Man, Pit and series semi-regulars Link, Zelda and Samus it would be an amazing reunion.

(in case you wonder: those last three were more common in the comic, in which they even pulled the "Samus is a girl" joke)

I'm not sure but I think either Nintendo or DiC has the rights to Captain N.

Though I'd wonder if they would actually go with Simon's Not-Captain-Qwark look in Captain N or with the half-dressed pretty leatherboy look in the recent artwork. Both have their downsides and seem rather out of place compared to the rest of the cast.

Speaking of that joke:
