What has actually gotten better graphic wise in comparison with SSBB?

I always say that 2007 is the year that graphics has reached its peak and that it's hard to tell whether a game is from 2007 or 2013. Before 07, it was quite easy to tell the differences, now however...

Don't hate me for this but all I see are palette changes. Mario has a different shade of red, Bowser also changed colours and etc.

Tell me.

Well it's definitely a much smaller difference than between Melee and Brawl.

Graphic-wise, the graphics have gotten better. The grafix might have gotten better, but we'll have to see. And the graph-x are vastly improved.

Yea, I was hoping for a more drastic improvement for this smash, I mean even melee to brawl was a huge leap compared to Smash U. Every model felt like it was created from scratch except for kirby of course, but with this game you can tell they used the brawl models as a base, most noticeably with Fox and Mario.

You're not wrong to think what you do, but the very simple fact is that SSBB was not in HD.

In my opinion the differences are very noticeable, with the most obvious things being the lighting and just general crispness of everything. It's kind of hard to notice the improvement for some because of the change in art style, but it's there.

Watching that might help.

I used to have a PS3 and I still don't see any difference.

This. Have you seen PS4's graphics? At first I had a problem differentiating from real figures and the video game characters!
