So... Why did they get rid of Link's Illusion Stab?

Because it was difficult to do and not reliable?

I liked it.

I hope they get rid of the "Hold A rapid fire" attacks (Pikachu's headbutt attack, for example).

There's something about it I don't quite like, but I'm not sure why.

Didn't make him any less crappy as a character, but it was cool I guess.
I said so ravenously.

Doesn't really fit Link very well, he never does anything like it in LoZ games, and Link is hardly a character that screams "I need rapid attacks" given that he's a mid-speed somewhat heavyweight. Suprising they had it in the first place.

I'm glad they removed it. I find Link's new A combo much more useful than the rapid-stab. Gives you a quick spacing option, since most of Link's tilts are a bit sluggish.

I like Links new AAA combo. Its pretty quick and distances the enemy a bit with the final blow.

What does Illusion have to do with the stabs?

Illusion Stab is in Brawl, but it's invisible.

Made him too much of a Fox clone.

If that were the case, C.Falcon, Kirby, Pit, Mewtwo, etc, clone because they have Rapid attacks.

mewtwo's is awful. Does random 1-2% damage. Can't combo for beans.
