What? A topic not about Rosalina? Is this for real?
Anyway, I remember reading a similar idea to this years ago, but I forgot who thought of it.
Basically, it's a stage with platforms and visuals synced of to music. The background has abstract visuals, like Melee's Battlefield. The colors change depending on which part of the song is playing. The Stage itself is flat, with the ground visually pulsing to the beat. The stage has platforms that move and change position to the tune of the song.
In other words, a stage similar to Audiosurf or the iTunes visualizer.
The soundtrack to this stage? Any song on the games soundtrack can be used.
I thought of 2 ways for music to be selected: 1. Whenever the stage is picked, it asks you to select the song each time 2. Creating a "playlist" in the options menu of songs you like, with it randomly picking a song from your playlist when you select the stage. --- The terms "casual" and "hardcore" are meaningless, please stop using them. They could do a Rhythm Heaven stage for something like that.
Depending on the background music, different layouts/character/hazards are used and everything goes with the music. --- Robbit (Jumping Flash!) for Playstation All-Stars!
