i like to think of her as the ultimate mother. maybe thats how she got so popular, being a mum that care's very deeply to so many kids that aren't even the same species that deep down we wish she was our own mum, and then we start to care for her.

Well she's obviously a prince.

The Nintendo Holiday Survey listed her as an option on the question "Which Nintendo princess would you want to save?"

And you know what? It makes sense. She rules the galaxy, or maybe the universe, she can choose whatever title she wants. She can be a princess if she wants to be the Princess of the Universe. Maybe because she's a big Queen fan and wanted her title to be a play on Princes of the Universe.

She was likely a princess/queen before ever going to space. She's worn the crown since she was young, as seen in the storybook.

Except in this part, which happens sometime before those events, where her mother wears it instead. It was likely passed down when she died, meaning she was indeed part of a monarchy of some sort.

Whether or not it should still be relevant is debatable, though.

She's been put under the princess section on the mariowiki.com website.

I guess this whole "Is Rosalina a Princess or not" arguement is the new "Is Birdo a boy or a girl" debate.

just saying, people can site their sources all they want to try to back up their arguements, but then it's argued those sources are either unreliable, or unofficial because it doesn't come from the mouth of the creator themselves.

Only this debate is some how... not as amusing...
