I'm tired of the "platform floating in the middle of nowhere where it doesn't make any ****ing sense" stages.

Like this new Rainbow Road stage. Why can't we just fight on the damn track, in one spot?

Or Delfino Plaza. This platform randomly flying around the stage and disappearing DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PLATFORM FLIPS SIDEWAYS HOW THE HELL ARE WE NOT FALLING OFF, DAMMIT (not to mention they had to **** up the top of the shine gate)

Or the new Skyloft stage. wtf is with this moving and disappearing platform bull****

Smashville, to an extent. Why can't we just fight on the ground, or on top of Nook's or something, dammit

The platforms you battle on should feel organic to the context of the stage. Seriously.

I'm kind of with you. On the other hand, we probably get more stages overall if they use this layout. I like the way the rainbow road one looks too to be honest.

Yeah, I kinda prefer fighting on like a rooftop or some **** instead of RANDOM PLATFORM IN FRONT OF STUFF

I feel like this was an issue with Brawl as well. In Melee and 64, there were a ton of stages where characters were fighting on something like fox's ship, F-Zero racers on Big Blue, hyrule temple, buildings in Fourside and Onett, etc.

Then in Brawl, it was platforms on platforms everywhere. Yeah the backgrounds were very pretty and interesting. But the stages themselves were extremely bland and similar to one another. Hope this changes in SSB4, but so far, besides the SMG and PilotWings stages, it seems like more of the same...

I hadn't really thought about this until now. But now that I have, I agree. We need more stages like Onett and Fourside.

Yeah that's where my problem stems from. Primarily from Delfino Island. They ****ed that stage up royally. Its only saving grace is its fantastic music.

For the Rainbow Road stage? Might be like the Mute City stage in Melee or Port Town Aero Dive like in Brawl.

If you're talking about Skyloft, then yes, we have picture and video proof that the platforms land on the actual stage a la delfino plaza.

The beach on the Delfino stage was my favorite spot. If only there was an option to turn on or off the platform shuffling.

I support my favorite Nintendo Starlets: Pauline, Palutena, Anna, Captain Syrup, and also Bayonetta for Smash Bros Wii U/3ds.
