Well, I'm back once again. Tingle got a 25.54% putting him in 31st place while Flint got a better score of 7.82% bumping him to 64th place. ThaneNeedsCure won the prediction and has 15 extra nominations. Today's character is King Boo, the Boo who is the antagonist in Luigi's Mansion! http://mariowiki.com/King_Boo Today also features a revote for Anna and a nomination for Crono! Tomorrow's character is Mr. Resetti, the mole who scolds the player for resetting from Animal Crossing! http://www.nookipedia.com/wiki/Mr._Resetti This is a daily series where you rate the chances of a character becoming playable in the next installment of Super Smash Bros., for the Wii U. I am a huge fan of this concept, so I decided to start fresh with my own version, free for all to participate in. For those not familiar, using as objective of a criteria as possible you will give a percentage of how likely you think the day's character is to make it into the game when it comes out. PLEASE read the rules if this is your first time participating. Rules: 1. You objectively rate the character's chances of being playable on a scale of 0.01% to 99.99% For example, if you give a character say, an 80%, you consider them a probable edition. A 15% on the other hand means they are pretty unlikely. A 52% might mean decent, but not highly likely chances. Any extreme outliers or troll voting will not be counted in the day's score. Don't attempt to heighten or lower the score because you don't like where it is now. Try to be as unbiased as possible. I do understand nobody can be completely unbiased, but please remember this is not a popularity contest. 2. Please give a reasoning for your score. I strongly encourage discussion, preferably in the form of pros and cons. Pros might include significance to their series and relevancy overall, iconicness, moveset potential, popularity, etc. Cons might include a lack of any of the above, comments Sakurai has made, etc. Please make sure that your posts have clearly defined pros and cons, but feel free to elaborate on them as much as you'd like. 3. All candidates will be decided based on nominations that people make of who they want to rate. Each day, every user gets 5 votes to spread however they like as nominations. The character that has the most nominations will be the next character voted on. 4. Nominations must be for a character who has appeared on at least one game on a Nintendo console. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd party, and they must have originated in a video game. 5. Do not fight or flame in this topic. Do not start arguments and do not add to them. This is a fun thing that should be enjoyed. 6: We can do revotes. It keeps things fresh with more perspectives, and allows for our list to be fine-tuned with the latest developments. A character must receive 50 nominations again in order to have a revote, and the new scored will be combined with the old one, with the new score having 4/5 the weight. King Boo: 0.01% Nothing more than a glorified generic enemy. Anna: 50% *Insert what I said the first time here* Crono: 0.01% A good choice for a Square rep but sadly his chances are non existent. That's right, you're only supposed to pick the highest nominated character, and a revote if there is one. Anyways, King Boo gets 10%. I seriously doubt this guy has much chance, but he's definitely more likely than just a generic Boo. Anna gets 50%. She's been in pretty much every single FE and she's kind of like the unofficial mascot. She's also finally playable in FE13, which considerably helps her chances. I'd say it can go either way with her. Crono gets 5%. While he is the main character of his game, which helps him, his chances are still pretty much nonexsistant, and SE would probably go with a FF or DQ character if they get a rep. Tails x5. For king boo ill give him a 7% - While a somewhat recurring character in the mario series i really doubt this guy will get that much notice since hes not even all that important in that universe compared to his competition. Ill give anna a 10% - Shed be a nice addition but im not sure how sakurai and team will view her as an an important part to her series. And for Chrono ill say 25% - Hed probably be one of the front runners for squares reps, but even then i dont think his one game will be enough to solidify him as their best bet choice for a third party rep.
