C/D Wario should have been in Super Smash Bros (N64)

No. That's not fair to the people who care. Clearly the roster is not simply based on what is most important, it is balanced because different people like different series, even within characters. DK didn't get a bongo FS because Jungle Beat and Konga were just so important to his series. Same goes for Diddy and his FS, from a game that Nintendo clearly doesn't care much about and is unimportant to the DK series as a whole.

Konga and JB are important to Nintendo, and they were represented properly. As is DK64, as is the DKC series, as is the arcade series... And they were all represented fairly. I think you're confusing Nintendo for gamers, gamers are the ones that put down DK64 constantly, but it did very well for Nintendo... Unfortunately Rare left, and that's maybe why it appears that it looks unimportant to Nintendo. But it really isn't, it's respected as part of the DK series as any other game in the franchise. Too bad they can't release it on VC... Also too bad they had to remove the DKC trilogy on it too. But Nintendo still respects its history, and that is shown in Smash as well as elsewhere when the DK series is promoted as a whole.

Not to mention Wolf got no unique weapons not because he didn't have any or because they weren't important to him, but because they just didn't care enough to give him any and went with LANDMASTER cubed instead.

Moveset was your point, not mine. My point was the character value to a franchise, Fox already represents the Star Fox series through gameplay, the rest are just supporting cast that are next in line in terms of importance, similarly to Bowser, Peach, and Luigi.

Importance means a heck of a lot, it's not the only reason for inclusion, but I'd certainly say its a primary source.

So you're telling me that World was so unimportant that they couldn't have even bothered to give Wario's chomp move a slight suction? Okay then. And how long does programming in a couple of trophies and a song or two take?

I'm sure that's all still coming, but this was Wario's introduction to Smash, can't expect everything at once. Essentials first, and Wario Ware is the essentials.

They gave Wario his Corkscrew from that game. And a few throws of his from that game too.

The first Smash 64 was about a kid using his imagination. In Brawl, that kid is God.

And that apparently makes up for everything else? No. The corkscrew, as I've said before, doesn't even look/act anything like it did in World. Like I said, if chomp was a World reference, why is there not even a slight suction?

A few tosses and a smash attack =/= all the stuff in the post you quoted.

HarvestMoonMike, they won't change anything because they don't care. Ganon hasn't even changed since Melee.

Actually I heard somewhere they didn't change Ganon cause the people who were used to his playstyle in Melee (pro players, etc) would get pissed off they did.

What's to say really?

And it's not like they didn't add more to Ganondorf, giving him his TP design as well as the Ganon transformation. However, with Zelda reps, it usually does resort to relevancy.

With Wario, I could see them digging around more into the character's history, as well as recent exploits. Whether that's for movesets, trophies, or other additional content.

We'll see, maybe they will, maybe they won't. Right now though, since they haven't fixed the problem yet, I'm still mad.
