It's not that controversial to be honest. It's pretty similar to most of the rosters people make. The only thing that's controversial is that most people here don't like Tingle or Mii, deserving as they may be. The other thing is that it's missing a 6th Gen Pokemon, which is practically a guarantee now.

Not bad at all, but I would cut Andy and Starfy to add back in Lucas and Wolf.
I would also possibly cut Tom Nook for either Andy again, or Isaac, or Shulk. Maybe replace Waluigi with a different Mario character as well.
