Id like to see ZSS seperate from Samus.. :) That R button holding... hehe. I could never get the taunt transformation to work.

45 is probably where it'll be at. And that doesn't prove there can't be more than 50 characters. It just means that Sakurai wants to add more features rather than just more characters.

He never says 50 max. If anything, that article suggests the roster size won't be getting bigger at all.

That said, if Sakurai actually thinks a Smash game is going to sell without adding more characters, he should be fired immediately. XD

If I haven't mentioned Trivio in my post, it's because she is so beautiful and precarious that I just wanted to show her how much she means to me.

You could cut to then add characters, though I'm not a fan of that.

I voted for 50, though I think you need to count transformations as well. It's not like they're minor little changes, they don't perform anything like the counterpart. Honestly only 11 or so new figures (less with other transformations, more with cuts) sounds really small, but I don't really want to see any cuts. I think the roster could be bigger, just a matter of if it will be.
