I really hope they don't make console exclusive characters. I plan on getting both, but still.

I feel like both of the rosters should be similar for the most part, but should also have their own exclusives that can be unlocked for the opposite version by interconnecting the two versions.

It'll sell like hotcakes.

I think the 3ds game will have the Brawl roster focusing on quality while the Wii U game will have the Brawl roster plus 20 focusing on quanity, them quality by nerfing and gimping later on.

People are willing to buy both versions of Monster Hunter Tri: Ultimate.
Not that I doubt that each version won't have its own differences, but I don't think having the same roster in both versions of a Smash game is going to make the success or failure of either one.

The WiiU version will be stronger and have better graphics, while the 3DS version will be playable on the go. That's enough of a difference. Maybe exclusive game modes, but the roster should be the same.

40-45 balanced, deep characters >>>>>>>>>>>>>> 50-60 clunky, unbalanced characters.
