New Fire Emblem DLC is a Smash reference

Roy and Ike are fighting for no reason, and depending on the DLC, Chrom supports one of them.
The name of the DLC?
Smash Brethren

Oh, and in the 3rd DLC in the series, you have to fight both.

So, why would Ike and Roy ever have to fight, and why would they team up against Chrom? Hmm...

Fighting for no reason?

Or fighting for the spot in the next Smash Bros?

I'm hoping they'll add some Smash related hints in the translation.

There's also DLC where Marth and Seliph fight and Chrom has to either fight with them or against them. Which is great because Seliph > Ike and Roy.

Impossible is just a word people use to make themselves feel better when they quit.

Sounds to me like the devs are fans of Smash and are putting in Smash references 'cause they like Smash and it got green lit as DLC?

I wouldn't look that deep into it.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like it has to mean anything deep. Although the reference was indeed a nice touch ^^

Why not right? Everybody picks a character or two that they support for SSB4; I will too! Masked Marth, I choose you!
(Is the true identity still a spoiler?)

Its more than likely something the localization team had fun with and nothing more.
