15 years? The period of bad games was from 2001 (SA2) until 2009 (Sonic Colors). I doubt you've actually played the games when I consider your arguments on the 'Sonic vs Samus' topics.
Note: If the internet says a game is bad, you don't need to join the bandwagon. How about you actually play the games?
And besides, now that Sonic has been revived, he's MILES ahead of Mario in level-design, music (although he's always been superior in music) and general gameplay.
