How do you represent the time we have remaining until the game's release?

Here's what I've done so far:
Generic bars where you increase the length that is filled in.
Rectangles with lots of random things drawn and you just keep filling in more random parts and try to have as much of it filled in as we are percentage of the way to this game from brawl's release.
Shapes where each one represents some amount of time and you keep slowly getting rid of them. The Smash emblems should be worth a lot.
A java program that makes shapes where it keeps slowly making them smaller and/or breaking them into smaller pieces where each piece has some preset value.
A number of days or a fraction, decimal, percent, or all of those.
Confidence intervals.
An upper and lower bound on the time in each of the ways in the previous way as well.
Btw, for anyone else that does this, how many days do you like to use for your bounds? I'd say 2200 for lower and 2500 for the upper bound seems pretty reasonable. If it helps, we're up to 1836 days since brawl's NA release.
