At first I thought only a few were inherently annoying (Floww, Buckot, Glice) but after another playthrough...

Depends on the enemy. The Subspace Army collectively covers all those options...

Though I'm gonna pick "meh" because I'd rather be fighting enemies I actually know...

Somewhere between "Meh" and "Hard." Not hard enough to count as hard, but hard enough it no longer qualifies as "Meh". Some of them were the lower end of "Meh," some made me facepalm whenever I realised I had to fight them.

The inherent problem with SSE enemies was that for a game based entirely around the concept of knockback and momentum, you fought hundreds upon hundreds of enemies that took NONE whatsoever, while you still did. It was mildly annoying the first time through, but extremely irritating beyond that (had to replay to reunlock everything on Wii after transferring to Wii U).
