It is one of the most popular series in Japan, and having at least a stage or specific character would be Ok.

For example:

Possible Characters

-Gengar (PMD)
-Gardevoir (PMD)
-Grovyle (PMD2)
-Dusknoir (PMD2)
-Sableye (PMD2)

Possible Stages

-Tiny Woods (With traps)
-Temporal Pinnacle
-Blizzard Island
-Destiny Tower

I agree, if Yoshi and Wario can count as their own series, so can those guys.
---
Mewtwo, Lucario and Zoroark (or) Victini all deserve to be in SSB4

Pokemon's such an extensive series, we really don't need a 'spin off' category as an excuse to add more characters. The Pokemon series has so many spin offs, and that's the problem. I love Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, it's my favorite Pokemon game(except for the mainstream games), but I don't think this should be a legit thing.

I do, however agree with the stages and alt costume ideas.

A stage would be nice, haven't gotten a chance to play the most recent one for 3DS, has anyone played it? Is it any good?

Exactly this. but for a completely different argument haha.

if yoshi and wario "count as their own series" pokemon has so many spin off series, that people can stop complaining about how over repped it is.

If Sakuria added in a toy pikachu or mewtwo from pokemon rumble, people would be furious over how another pokemon got in, but when people look at yoshi and wario, they think that they arent from the mario series.

I just think that the pokemon series should definitely get atleast one more rep, without people questioning who to cut. its earned that more than ever.

but I however disagree that it should find a way to exclusively rep the mystery dungeon, rumble, snap, pinball, or ranger series.

Having stages, and and costumes is how to do it. Give pikachu a bandana and a badge, or something like that, but thats it. I mean, you can argue that the pikachu in smash bros is from mystery dungeon, as I dont really remember it having anything in its "back story" claiming its not.

If anything Keckeon should be the rep. All his moves should one-hit K.O. On a serious note, I'd really like a PMD stage with or without various traps. I think it's just a awesome idea.

I lost the game!

For me, as long as it's at least Temporal Pinnacle, I'm happy XD
