There should be a character that can make static stage hazards.

One or more B attacks puts a hazard in that spot that stays for a short time, like an auto-turret gun or a lingering fireball or a springboard or even just a temporary wall. The hazard can be attacked and destroyed and would fade out after some time. These aren't just traps, but obvious hazards.

I've got more topics in mind, don't worry.

Surely there's no problem with them putting me in Brawl, right?
It's ****ing satire, damnit. In NGE, Doritos are perishable goods

Like what Emmett Graves does in PS All-Stars?

Yeah that'd be cool but honestly I don't see Smash Bros having characters that can do really unique stuff like that.

Generally, yes. But there are options other than turrets, and they don't have to be stuck on the ground.

Snake already had a couple of these. They could implement some sort of turret into his moveset.

Well a trap technically is a hazard itself, but I get what you're saying. I wouldn't mind a character like this as long as he/she wasn't overpowered. The question is what character would fit this gimmick.

I also have a good feeling that there will be a game mode where the gamepad user will be able to control the stage hazards of certain levels.

I approve of this. It's a cool idea that hasn't really been worked with in fighting games.

I know that for the Skullgirls mystery character DLC vote one of the choices was a character that could build turrets and obstacles to help her out. She didn't win the vote but the idea intrigued me ever since I heard about it. It'd be cool to see how an idea like this would pan out in a game like Smash where stage control is so critical.
