No more than their chances increase or decreased in every other mario spin off that is planned from before development began until Smash Wii U releases.
But wouldn't it affect Waluigi? That's two recent spin off games he would not have been in.. so you're saying he doesn't have to appear in any future spin offs and his chances will still be the same? >_>

Unaffected. Mario won't get any non-Toad newcomers regardless so it doesn't matter. And it quite possibly just won't get any newcomers. --- Palutena, Isaac, Ridley, King K. Rool, and Anna for SSB4 "I'm willing to bet money that Waluigi, Chrom and K. Rool are in this game" -DynasticAnthony

Sadly yes. It seems likely Mario will get Yellow/Blue Toad over anyone else.

Would lower Waluigi's chances. The others have literally no chance so there. --- ~~~V Smash Bros Moveset Making Paradise V~~~ http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=335316

Oh, hey. Michealoll's still at it.
Yeah, Mario Party has no relevance on the Smash series.
Now if Waluigi wasn't in the next Mario Kart, that would raise some red flags. --- So I'm still waiting for Daisy to reappear in something that's not a spinoff. I'll probably end up dying first or something but optimism is fun.

All remain unaffected? I don't think Mario Party corresponds with Smash Bros chances.
