Can you name Skylanders in this game?

Say I wanted to give one a nickname, is this something that I could store in the toy?

Yes, you can. I have a topic about it over on the 360 board, feels like it might thrive here.

Thanks, but that's not helpful. HOW would someone do such a thing in the 3DS version of the game?

Technically, to split hairs, I did answer his question. He asked, specifically, if nicknames store in the figures, and they do.

You answered the lesser of two questions, the big one is in the title.

If you can, its not made readily apparent, as I've never heard of such a function and I only own the 3ds version. While its not impossible that said function is hidden in there some where, the 3ds version seems a bit more bare bones on extra functions then the console versions, so I would consider it doubtful.
