I can't imagine that. I love VanillaWare, but there's no way that Sony think Muramasa will be a system seller. If Sony wanted to moneyhat someone, they'd moneyhat a company people care about.

I don't mean it's going to be the game that catapults the Vita into mainstream acceptance, but there are going to be a fair number of otaku who buy Vitas just for it.

I don't think Vanillaware is a big enough company that Sony would have to pay them crazy amounts of money for something like that, either.

Vanillaware can't but Marvelous AQL can. They own the rights to Muramasa and are the ones behind the decision to release it on the Vita.
