Pikmin 3

Does anyone else agree that it'd be more fun if you could stay out at night?

Different, nocturnal enemies would be out and about. Obviously it would serve as a more challenging time where it's really critical to keep an eye on all the pikmin that are out, lest they meet the fate that the pikmin who are left behind do in the first two games.

There could be black pikmin, which burn up if exposed to sunlight. They could offer some kind of night vision that would help you see in the dark. They move extra quick, can be thrown high, and do extra damage while fighting. Enemies don't notice black pikmin until they're being attacked by them, or they're immediately in front of them, or they're in a group with other colors of pikmin. (Maybe the presence of Olimar makes the enemies notice them too? Olimar can find some special boot that helps him move about as quietly as the black pikmin?)

how i this racist, becouse he mentioned the color black? i kinda like the idea, maybe at night enemies are more aggressive and a constantly moving.

This is my four-point explanation of how it's (unintentionally) racist. Trust me, I know people never intend for it to be taken that way, it's just too easy to find soemthing racist in it.

1) Black Pikmin are only out at night. *Laughs, becuase (black) gangs are always out at nights*
2) Black Pikmin can be thrown high. *Laughs, because white men can't jump*
3) Black Pikmin have higher attack power. *Laughs, because African Americans are called out as thugs*
4) Enemies never expect Black Pikmin. *Laughs, because of the above point*

Honestly, it's really difficult not to poke fun at someone when they make a Black Pikmin. I can even make fun of my own Black Pikmin idea (mine are immune to oil... you figure it out). In general, it'd take some clever thinking for someone not to consider a Black Pikmin idea racist. :\

And that's another thing people won't get by if there's Black Pikmin... still, we all have the ideas for them, it's just that most people are asswipes and won't pull their mind out of the gutter for two seconds to realize it's just a game. Atleast it's better than the "Mario is a COMMUNIST!" fiasco. >.>

Well, if there were nightplay, the captain couldn't be Olimar. Think about it: he needs to sleep sometime, right? If this happened, I would assume another captain would take over...one that sleeps in the day for the night shift, possibly.

Currently playing: Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection, Radiata Stories, Persona 3: FES, and Pikmin 2.

I would rather have it an option to stay out after time, just make it nearly impossible to survive.

I hated the time limit for day times.. it be os much better you can rush to finish up instead of calling pikmin asap to drop whatever they carry is important. They could have several powerful bulborbs come and it be nearly impossible to survive (pikmin extinction if you try to fight them off is likely). This way only the very skilled players can benefit from staying out and at the same time gives players a reason to leave if they feel its to dangerous.

You have just stretched it farther than I've ever seen. Seriously, if you're afraid that's going to happen, you are more of a threat than anyone else here.

Of course, random people in the public would start wailing, but we don't care about them.
