Using Olimar's kids as other captains has been proposed many times. Personally... I'm kind of neutral on it. Not loving the idea, but not exactly hating it, either.

Battle?same ones as pikmin 2, only with four/five players.

Limit it to four. More is fine for FPS or other fighting sort of games, but in an RTS it gets too chaotic with more than four players.

Chase? the person with the wiiu tablet will be it/a pikmin while the other players try and kill the pikmin/get the player with options such as the bulborb, etc.

Interesting... not sure I've heard the idea before... I kind of like it.

Co-op? challenge with 2 or 4 players.

Sounds good.

Co-op story? The story of pikmin 3 but with 2 players only.

I prefer the idea of the story in Co-op being separate from the main, single player story... like Portal 2.
