These pikmin(i will call them parasectic pikmin) can also exit the bulborb bodies at any time, however, the bulborbs will then turn hostile after a small set amount of time again and need to be killed or infected again.


Also, i think that there should be a/several rogue captain(s) in the story and stuff that would be a boss that controls little red or blue or yellow pikmin that will attack your pikmin. Also, pikmin should do damage to the captain if they latch on.

I agree with your opinion of my Green Pikmin. I suppose you could make them more useful by adding wind hazards, but the only reason I originally made them and the oranges resistant to something that already existed was because I didn't want to add any new hazards.

Your rogue captain idea...not exactly sure what I think of that. On the one hand, I really like the notion of others on the Distant Planet. On the other hand, Pikmin seems primarily a game about the Distant Platen's wildlife, with the only thing not 100% native wildlife that you fight being the Man-at-Legs.

There's only about 5 of us left.

It's really a shame - some of the earlier posters had full-fledged walkthroughs for their games, and some of those weren't finished. But 1300 posts is a good run.

On a side note, for a treasure idea, I think there should be a fortune cookie. Name: "Precognition Snack".

I'd like to have some kind of survival mode in which you have to survive several waves of enemies. You gather resources and build a fort (build walls, traps and other hazards) during the day then fight for your life during the night. Each waves (nights) get tougher with more enemies and stronger ones. There would be many different scenarios (some easier than others) with a set number of waves, each having a boss during the last one. There would also be an endless mode where you try to survive for as many days as possible and allow you to put your high score on the leader-boards. Obviously, it would be best to allow us to quick save (so no reloading) between waves because some games may end forever, especially the endless one which is basically endless until you die.

I'd also love to have a two player coop mode as well as a battle one. How about a type of capture the flag? Each player would try to steal the other's treasure and bring it to their base. There was something like this in Pikmin 2 but stealing the other's marble wasn't the only objective and you weren't able to bring back your own marble back to your base. Obstacle courses would be a nice addition as well. Each player must race to the finish line. Although they don't directly interact with each other because they don't race on the same course (although they're all identical), players can also go out of their way and try impeding his/her opponents' progress by activating special devices, which adds more obstacles or enemies to the other players' courses.

what i think is they should add another two types of pikmin. Green which are immune to poison water and pink which are incredibly weak in battle but can help pikmin by putting up a barrier for a short time (1 pink pikmin would put a barrier infront of 7 pikmin or so
