I just realized something from the Pikmin 2 Ending....

White & Purple Pikmin have no Onions and thus stay on Olimar's ship... when he left for his home planet... did they come with him? I mean the ending also only shows Red, Blue, & Yellow Pikmin saying goodbye basically.

What's to say really?

Not exactly. It must have just slipped Nintendo's mind to put in Purples and Whites; or maybe it's a planned mechanic for the next addition.

Maybe they took them so they can study them and find out if there's a reason why they don't have Onions and possibly try to make one for each of them. That would probably end up doing something to the Pikmin and they start destroying Hocotate and Olimar and Louie/the President/new character have to make a big enough army of Pikmin to stop them or something. Good idea for a story and it follows something that probably happened in the previous game

I'm just going to go with the Purple and White Pikmin ended up staying behind and probably got killed off. From the ending of Pikmin l to Pikmin ll, Red, Blues, and Yellows all went down to 5 Pikmin.

When you bump into someone you say "Sorry, my bad" You laugh awkwardly.
Watching them from far away without saying anything is not bumping into them

But Olimar was on a different part of the planet in the second game.

Forest of Hope = Awakening Wood. Told in one of Olimar's logs for an Awakening Wood treasure.
Impact Site + Final Trial = Wistful Wild. Look at the map.

If you need further proof your argument is invalid, Google it. Or use another search system.

Anyway, TC brought up an interesting point. I assume that all the White and Purples die from Hocotate's atmosphere, because if Oxygen is deadly to Hocotatians, the gas Hocotatians breathe would be death to Pikmin.

It's just common sense.

Is it just me that noticed that Whites and Purples keep lodge in the ship's exhaust pipes?

Oh yeah maybe they don't need to breath. any thoughts on my thought for a story line? If its liked here I'll put it on the Pikmin 3 ideas topic.

No, he was in the same parts. Though maybe the original Pikmin were the ones in different parts.
