Gamecube, Wii, or Wii U? - Results (72 votes)
For further reference to anyone new to the series, the Pikmin series originated on the Gamecube and later got ported to the Wii with new controls. Pikmin 3 will be available for the Wii U, and it is possible that Pikmin and Pikmin 2 will be released on Virtual Console if Gamecube games are added to it. No, I did not get the Wii U on launch, so I have no idea if Gamecube games are on its VC. Also, I began playing the series on the Gamecube. --- This signature is a lie. |

However, I have now beaten the game 4+ times in a row (GC version) without codes.
I'm getting 3 on launch day as well.... Well, that depends if Ninty hasn't changed the game play so much that it isn't "Pikmin". |

I was only ten years old at the time.
When mom and dad bought a GameCube for me and my brother, we each got one game:
I got Metroid Prime, and my little brother got Pikmin.
I shared my Metroid game with him, and he shared Pikmin with me.
My little brother doesn't play Pikmin anymore, he grow-up to be one of the "PC Master-race,"
but I still love consoles.
