Anyone can use any idea. I have no idea why you expect to find the person that came up with the idea. After all his idea will be slightly different, and he may have taken it from someone else, who got it from someone else, who got it from his mothers brothers fathers uncles neices boyfriends dogs best friend.

Just use it, if they don't like it, its up to them to prove its their idea.

Yeah dude, fan-fics are always being "inspired" by others.

I have no idea who it is that your topic was made to originally contact, but the people hear seem pretty cool, I'm sure whoever it was, wouldn't mind.
