If there was to be a third pikmin introduced what should it be?

I'm pretty sure that I actually had a dream a couple of nights ago where I saw green pikmin and I was all excited to tell everyone. Then I woke up and was a wee bit pissed xD

bring back bomb rocks? A new color that specializes in explosives use?

Something cold-resistant is the only thing I really see missing currently. Maybe it burrows under ground to attack, instead of being thrown? Idk, something more than just cold resistance. I don't want it to be visually just another color like the base 3 either, it needs a unique identity like the rock pikmin.

Spiky Pikmin. (Burr Pikmin)
Are vulnerable to all hazards, but cannot be shaken off of enemies.
You know how since Pikmin 1, that you thrown Pikmin on an enemy only for it to thrown them off a few seconds later?

They wouldn't do as much damage as Reds or Rocks, but cling like the Burdock plant that inspired Velcro.

So as long as you landed one Burr pikmin, you could just retreat and wait for the attacking creature to die? That is, as long as you are not above ground and with a time limit.

I could only really see something like this working if, when attacked by Burr pikmin, enemies become more aggressive. They would attack more frequently (like, go for a bite or whatever), and follow you and your retreating pikmin pretty much wherever they go on the map.

No, they could still get eaten, burned, electrocuted, crushed, sucked-up, drowned (Watery Blowhog), snatched-off (garlic crab thing),... 1001 ways to die in pikmin. They just hold on a little better.
