fissionprimerPosted 1/2/2013 10:13:09 AM | Exploration is what i love about this games.
First sticker star, now this?
I know many people loved the second game because of its exploration, but adding time limit pretty much guaratees just a rental at least for me.
I hope im wrong, lets see what happens...

AhnoldDoodPosted 1/2/2013 2:54:59 PM | Because the time limit was the only difference between Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2, right? |
Jet_the_hawk79Posted 1/2/2013 3:41:45 PM | I'll be annoyed if they do, but I'll still buy it. They should make it optional when you start a new game, then they could also make shorter time limits for those who want a challenge.
Or, people who really want a time limit could restart the game if they passed a certain day. Rather then b****ing about the lack of a time limit. --- No way I'm gonna lose! |
XNinja_KirbyXPosted 1/2/2013 6:04:49 PM | I didn't mind the time limit in the first. Well, originally I did but that was because I was in Kindergarten and was mortally afraid of becoming a Pikmin. But it doesn't matter so much to me, especially because I want to make a playthrough of it. (Replaying) --- (>^-^)> <(^-^<) ^(^-^)^ ^(^- ^)> <(^ -^)^ |

RobJ23Posted 1/3/2013 12:28:27 PM | Not sure how serious the topic is, but honestly... a little CHALLENGE in a first party Nintendo game wouldn't hurt anyone.
If you want a casual fun fest with no challenge, go play Pikmin 2 some more. Go play some free Steam games or something.
Nintendo MUST ramp up difficulty on games, period. |
TerotrousPosted 1/3/2013 1:07:21 PM | You can still explore with a time limit. The original gave you at least twice the amount of time to do what you needed to do.
Also, here's a way to explore without losing any time - explore first, plan out the route you'll take for that day, then reset the game and do it. --- http://terosclassicgaming.blogspot.com/ - Watch me beat "NES Die Hard" http://www.backloggery.com/tero - My backloggery |
EasterEggHunterPosted 1/3/2013 5:25:23 PM | Doesn't time only pass on the surface? If you go in a cave, you don't use up time, meaning you will have to hurry up only on the surface, and be free to explore caves at your own leisure. Besides it might not be 30 days, maybe 50 or something, i beat pikmin 2 in 20 so thats good enough. --- 3DS Code: 5026-5030-0238 PM me.
