Pikmin Adventure from Nintendo Land had original enemies not in Pikmin 1 or 2: Beebs, and Emperor Pinchipede.

You think that might be a preview for enemies in this game?

they had non-living versions of EVERY SINGLE GAME ENEMY IN EACH AND EVERY MINI-GAME!!!!!!!!, pikmin adventure is probably no different, although the emperor pinchipede is probable a renaming of that mawdad boss modified for an acion game.

No they didn't. I'm sure there'd be over 100 Zelda enemies, along with over 100 Metroid enemies, not included in the games, and there are dozens missing that were in the Pikmin games. Do you want me to actually list all the enemies not in the game? Because I can if you want.

EDIT: Also, the games were based on a selection of prototypes that they had made, and were themed after the prototypes were chosen. It's quite possible that Beebs were created for the prototype, before it was themed, and stuck around for the finished product.

I think the enemy selection was to help people who never played those games get a sense of how the game world works.

Metroid teaches you that you need ice to beat metroids, Zelda has the wizrobes.

From the pikmin game you can get a rough sense of the kinds of enemies in pikmin, and how you kill them.

I wouldn't mind seeing some Beebs, as for pinchipede I'm pretty sure thats based off the boss they had at the E3 demo.
