(like the Pink Flying Pikmin in the E3 trailer)

So, yeah.
We don't know if this is a new type of Pikmin that we haven't seen yet,
or if they are changing the color of the flowers on the new Pikmin that we have seen,
or if it is something else entirely.

It sort of the type of situation in that, even though you've seen it, and you know it is there, there is no explanation, you have to wait until they do decide to tell us.
(as we get closer to the release date, they will start handing out more info. For now, it's too far away)

Neat thought, but we have never seen anything like that in previous Pikmin games.
The color of the flowers of the number in Pikmin 2 reflected the flowers of the new types of Pikmin.

If I had to guess, I would say it is the same situation.

But the question remains, why are there even orange flowers at all?
