“Okay. We need to collect materials to make a poultice, namely leaves, mud, nectar grass, and nectar. Who wants to go?” Three reds, three yellows, and a blue volunteer to do it. “Great! But you have to hurry. And stay close.” The realization that there is still hope for Fluffy fills you with renewed energy as you watch the pikmin hurry off.
You enter the ship, grab a fistful of paper towels from a box, and clean up the blood as best as you can, discarding the soaked paper towels when you’re finished. Then you rush to Fluffy’s side. Fluffy weakly nudges your hand. “It’s alright. You’re gonna be alright,” you say in a soothing voice while gently stroking Fluffy’s head. “C’mon, pikmin. Hurry up.”
After a few more minutes of anxious waiting have passed, there’s still no sign of the pikmin. “Where could they be?” you murmur. Maybe something happened to them. Or maybe they wandered too far. Maybe they got lost and can’t find their way back. Maybe—
Suddenly, Fluffy squeaks loudly and goes limp. “Fluffy? Fluffy?” You shake the Bulborb, despite having been taught never to shake an injured person (or animal). “Fluffy!” You realize that he must’ve passed out.
“Where did those pikmin go?” you mutter. Patting Fluffy one last time, you exit the ship and scan the surrounding hills. Grass… Flowers… Flocks of Unmarked Spectralids and Honeywisps… Some strange beetles… “Aha! There they are!” you exclaim. You run towards the small cluster of pikmin. They are milling around uncomfortably. You see that they have gathered leaves and mud.
“What’s taking you guys so long?” you ask.
“Can you see that patch of nectar grass that I’m pointing at?”
“Yeah. What about it?”
“That is the only nectar grass we have been able to find in the immediate vicinity. However, it is surrounded by a colony of hostile Sheargrubs and Shearwigs.”
“I don’t see anything.”
“They hide underground and emerge when they are approached.”
“Oh. How many bugs are there?”
“About five or six Sheargrubs and two or three Shearwigs.”
What should they do?
A. Attack the ‘grubs and ‘wigs (insert strategy) B. Try to sneak past to get to the Nectar Grass (insert optional strategy) C. Try to find more nectar grass. D. Try to find nectar a different way (insert strategy) E. Give up and let Fluffy die.

A have one Pikmin draw out the grubs and wigs, then throw the other Pikmin at them. If none of the Pikmin are willing to draw them out, have Libra draw them out then have the Pikmin charge when the grubs and wigs come out. --- Once 1 person has agreed with someone, 5 to 7 more will agree as well. Nectar, possibly sprays and pellets. If we get a spray, wait until Olimar awakens to see if you can both take advantage of it (AKA double spray glitch).
So you're just assuming they're the same type of beetles as the spray and pellet droppers? What if they're a new deadly type? Anyway I'm pretty sure TC said the double spray glitch isn't going to happen near the start of this CYOA. That might have been an old one though. --- Once 1 person has agreed with someone, 5 to 7 more will agree as well. People who agree: 0 http://i.imgur.com/UcrXEHW.png
