Okay okay, we can wait 2-3 years for some games to be released, but we can also wait out this kind of time for E3 now.

This will be my first Pikmin game, so I too am excited. Just not on the same level as everyone else.

These were both GameCube games, but they've both been re-released on the Wii.

The first one over here was released a long time ago and is harder to find now. But a WIi port of the second one will arrive here in June. That oughta gear you up for it after we see the third one at E3.

Yuuuup.  This is what I've been waiting all these years for.  The end is in sight.  It feels fantastic.

What happens next though? 

I'll watch and re-watch the reveal trailer many times over.  I'll replay the first two games and actually have some idea of what the next game will be like while I play.

But what then?  I think I'm going to try to avoid getting too much information about it.  I want to have a sense of what the game will be like; if it will be similar to Pikmin and Pikmin 2, and maybe a couple of new features.  But I don't want to have seen half of the enemies or areas.  I'll probably still listen to podcasts where they discuss it (just to feed my exciement), but that'll be it.

How about you guys?

Yeah, I can barely wait either. I have a feeling Pikmin 3 is going to be even better than Pikmin 2, and that's going to be a challenge in my opinion.

For me, it would be bittersweet. I would *love* to see another Pikmin-with more story, more stuff, and new Pikmin! But I've made up a lot of stories using Pikmin, and a new game might screw my stories up! (What to do, what to do...)

Nimkip42, I have the solution to all of your problems.

1) Freeze yourself into cryogenic stasis, with the instructions to be thawed out automatically once time travel and teleportation has been invented, with a time machine - teleporter hybrid placed immediately outside your stasis chamber.

2) While avoiding all contact with outside entities who could tell you anything related to Pikmin, use the time machine to travel back in time to November 2006.

3) Teleport into the room the Pikmin team is in, and present your ideas. Proceed to wipe their minds of anything related to your or time travel, excluding your ideas for Pikmin.

4) Time travel back to May 11th, 2012. Proceed to set the time machine on autopilot to after the time you first left the future.

5) Wait until E3, when your own ideas become the next Pikmin game.

It is the perfect plan!
