it is good the story mode isn't the focus. should be the same for UNS3.

by concentrating on versus, they can make the selection, online and battle system even better!

If people want story that's what the manga and anime is for. UNS1 and UNS2 story mode were a waste of time being dumbed down versions of the manga story anyway. they would need an RPG to pull off a worthwhile story mode, but then that would just make it a single player game not worth replaying.

They are still behind with the playable character selection, so this should be treated like it's meant to be designed, as a fighting game.

so they don't waste time on cutscenes, they should just make story mode in UNS an arcade mode where players fight 10 random opponents and a boss and get some gallery artwork.

I can see the point for not focusing on story mode, but that is pretty damn stupid idea. It didn't work in RB2 and it wouldn't work here.

If you have to go through the story mode to unlock characters, it should at least be a fun experience.

I loved the cinematic boss fights in 1 and 2. Hope they'll include some great boss battles in 3.

What about people who dont want to play online? Ridiculous thing to say. Why cant they improve the game and have a decent story mode?

I think versus mode is where the focus should be as well.

The story mode should DEFINITELY by the focus in Storm 3. It's the last major arcs after all. It needs some major respect.

I think the whole reason I loved UNS2 was because of the cinematic boss fights.

People who play online are those who take virtual competition too seriously.
