I saw a game play video of SR4 the other day, and the super powers were done surprisingly well. Most notably, the super speed running and jumping.
However, I wish they made two games. One to be an off the wall super hero game and one to be more like SR2 (as in a newer San Andreas type game).
That probably won't happen. I'll be frank, I've never even known the SR series until 2...I LOVED number TWO. The Third one, it was fun for a while especially WH-Mode....after that putting peoples heads in the streets with a DDT and blowing big looking chicks with a rocket laucher???....it got old. The gang wars are repetitive. Same animations and all. The third took it to the newer level of wacky...and SR4 capitalizes on that...hey SR4 fans....hope you like CRAZY!!!!
It feels like the knew they couldn't keep up with GTA, so in order to separate themselves from those GTA comparisons, they went...well lets just say a bit too far.
i cant say i agree with that. i enjoyed Saints Row 3's single player more than i did GTA4's.....they could have made SR4 a dramatically better Gangster game and taken it back to its roots AND kept the alien theme in some respects and it would have been Amazing if done right....but they just mucked up with it. ill wait for More info on SR4 before i make my call but from what im seeing, im not buying it.
It seems ridiculous to me that anyone old enough to play Saint's Row would find it humorous. It's grade school humor. How low does your IQ have to be to appreciate that?
Hey, hey, hey! I won't tolerate that. Granted SR3 lost it's mind completely and seemed like their target demographic were 18 yr old Liberal Art majors from Florida University but SR1 and 2 were pretty good.
