To much water?

#1SUPER_DISPosted 6/16/2013 8:52:48 AM
Is anyone else worried that since this new map is supposedly so enormous that a little to much of that size will actually be underwater sections. Now, I'm excited to see this in GTA5, but let's be honest, it'll be mostly just for exploring and maybe fighting sharks. (though wouldn't it be sick for underwater james bond battles?). Plus I play this with the old man every now and then and we like to do what GTA does best, cause mayhem. Anyway, still excited.

I'm not familiar with the concept of "too much water".

my mamma said my mamma said if you actually put the GTAIV map next to the GTAV map you'll
see the huge difference and then compare to RDR map looks to be around half or more the size , I
did try to compare after reading this post and just wondering myself if for some reason they're all a
bunch of lying tadpoles over day at R* , even though I did not have the proportion in inches equal square miles etc. it looks purty darn large to me , better save some gas money there laddie !

The total area is supposedly five times the size of RDR, 3.5 of that is land and the other 1.5 is under water.

So not really, no especially if it's spread around the island as it probably will be.

You only need to look at the incomplete preview of the blueprint map pre-order bonus as well as the numerous screenshots to see there will be plenty of actual land.

You should be able to run out of gas in the game.
