All you need is facial hair and they won't bother.
I had a full on, balls to the wall beard, and they still asked for ID. This was at gamestop, and I'm 23. I look older than 23 too. --- Tread lightly.

Last game I was carded for was a used copy of Vanquish, so I refused to buy it there (Gamestop). I don't pay money for games from stores that card me. I pshop at the locally owned store with customer friendly policies instead.

They ID'd you because they want to know if you're really that person who preordered the copy to know you are that very same guy picking the copy up.
Oh, that sounds possible. At my local gamestop though, we get pre-order tickets, and trade them in when getting a game. Thought that was standard... --- GT: Aizen und so | Pawn: Omega, Lv. 170+ Warrior

Didnt get id'd and I'm 22. I'm pretty easily over 18 just by appearance. However, had they asked me, would have gladly provided. --- "This is me... All of me." ~ Hanako

My ID was green with a portrait of Benjamin Franklin. Works every time.

No, and it was surprising. I still get ID'd buying compressed/canned air and going to R-rated movies. I'm far beyond the age of 17, too.

Surprisingly, no. Im 21, clean shaven and i could pass as being a teenager but the woman at best buy looked around my age so she didnt bother asking.

America is hellishly strict about ID compared to most other places by the sounds of things O_o
You seem to be less tolerant of young people doing things as well. Where I live children are drinking and playing things like GTA at 14.
yea, but we also have indoor plumbing, so...

I'm 24 and I got it at Best Buy but I shop there all the time and my RewardZone information they used for the preorder probably listed my birthday as well so...
On another note, the guy who gave me my preordered copy was a sarcastic jerkass to me and I had once stuck up for the guy when he had to step into the manager's office after an altercation with a customer.
