red dead redemption's map wasn't larger than san andreas'...was it??

this is confusing me slightly. san andreas' map is GINORMOUS...possibly too ginormous, but according to this chart, red dead's map was even larger.

they're claiming gtav will be larger than both (which i find hard to believe), but i think they have their order incorrect...

They aren't claming anything. R* have said that it's bigger than IV, San Andreas and RDR combined. I think it was something like 5 times RDR.

Yes, RDR's map is bigger. Roughly 2.5 times the size of San Andreas, I believe.

nope. it's actually smaller. in terms of actual land mass probably not by much.

There is something very significant none of us are taking into account when trying to calculate mileage across different games. And that is...I'm not sure, but we're definitely missing something. There have been a few topics about this and I don't know what the answer is.

All I know is that chart from Kotaku is bull****.

nope, RDR is actually significantly bigger than San Andreas. Thats fact. Deal with it.
