Yes, the scale looks very accurate to me as well.

The airport looks perfectly scaled for the RDR map.

Los Santos airport in San Andreas wasn't very big anyways.

I used hi-res maps to try and replicate this scale.

Here is a zoom in comparison of Blackwater & Grove Street:

& an overlaid version:

What do you think?

this looks fair

Hmm. Looks like the Blackwater houses are 4-6 times larger than the Grove st. houses. The larger Blackwater buildings show as larger than the Los Santos apartment buildings. Not sure if the scale is right yet.

I know what I did was wrong, but they were so pretty.

How is this game even going to run on the Xbox 360? I mean come on, they can't even have the Mass Effect games be on one disc.

I mean Skyrim was one disc but this looks much more advanced than Skyrim in terms of the physics of the characters, the cut scenes and overall graphics.

I agree, RDR looks a bit too large on that scale.

How about this:

And a comparison between the two:

Jesus. So now my proof isn't as good as yours.. Even when R* themselves say it. This is why it is pointless to argue about silly s***.. What makes the link I posted any less valild than the links you did? Don't you see how crazy that sounds?

And yes, I've used them both.. It's been my impression the entire time that the War Horse is the faster horse. Whether or not it is, I don't know, but there is documentation that says I'm right, and you are right.

I'm not even saying that I'm right here, my point is, the internet is a giant false encyclopedia, I can pull "facts" from it too, just like you. The only way to tell would be to run them side by side in a straight race.

huh yeah okay you can beleve what you want

its pretty obvious that people can put some facts into your face but you are still going to believe some advertisements made for selling

I'm not saying I believe it. I was making a point. I didn't care enough about the horses in RDR to care which one is fastest. Before I started reading up on it, I had assumed that the War Horse was the top tier horse being that it was a DLC item. Even though the War Horse is not the fastest horse, it is highest ranking horse in the game, stat wise. Regardless though, I don't care. I wasn't debating you being wrong, just that if you look hard enough, you can find "proof" and links for either side... (Still being wrong that is)

Yes, I think so. THe house sizes are more comparable and the roads seem right. City hall, a larger building, straddles a six lane freeway. I think the second is much closer.

Honestly, to me the first one is still more accurate. The older farm style house is much larger IRL than a small ghetto track home in down town LA. I do think its a bit large, but not by much. The second overlay is too small now. Try doing this, the old farm style house on the outer limits of Blackwater is probably the size of 2 Grove Str homes wide, 2 deep. That would be an accurate scaling.

I think it would be closer to say the farmhouse would be as big as the Grove st. lot. On the RDR map, you cant see the actual plot of land, but you can on the SA map. The RDR houses (outskirts) should probably be about the size of the entire lot from a Grove st. home.

actually i think the that 2nd link is much closer....look at the small homes just outside of blackwater....they are bearly bigger than 1 house in grove street

The only thing throwing me off on the smaller map is CJ's house is just as big as the larger building in downtown Blackwater, that doesn't seem right to me.
