It's because it's a male dominance thing. We want to believe women don't have the understanding of driving, using weapons or committing any other type of gang activity.

Also the main complaint I've seen when I brought this up on the GTA IV board was, "It takes me out of my immersion!"

Rock* thought it would be boring to have an entire game take place in a kitchen.

It would probably be the most well rendered exciting kitchen ever though.

It is so scary leaving the kitchen! Thank goodness for Wi-Fi, now I can learn better sammich making techniques.

Also to Hell with your immersion. I am one detached gal and like it that way, video game characters are just my little dolls.
