Map size is not something that would drive the GB up that high. If anything pushes GTA V onto multiple discs, it will be uncompressed sound files. Character dialogue and the radio stations.

60 GB is absurd.

I have to agree with Druff. While a very large map and detailed world will take a lot of space, most of that 60 Gigs will be from sound files for voice acting, music and radio spots, etc.

If Faqers has never been used as a term before, then I am claiming that I came up with it first.

Dual layer Blu-ray Discs can only hold up to 50 GB anyway. So no, it certainly won't be 60 GB.

Yeah, for the record, I just want to say that I think this 60 GB figure is absolute b.s. nonsense. I didn't entertain it for one second.

I'm just nervous about the 360 version being on multiple DVDs. If it is, I'm jumping ship to the PS3 version.

Were there any actual differences whatsoever other than controls between PS3 and 360 GTA4? I'm finally getting a PS3 soon and I'm not sure which version will be better. Obviously it won't be known until it comes out but basing it off the previous game should kind of help >_>

There were no distinct advantages between the PS3 & 360 for GTA IV except for downloadable content which was available on the 360 first. Hopefully they won't do something like that again.

For GTA V the main reason to buy it for the PS3 is to only have one disc. That's assuming that the 360 will have multiple discs.

If GTA V is multi disc on 360, the second disc will probably just be an install disc, so its a moot complaint.

50GB would be like 8 Discs on xbox? Doubtful.

I also think it will have for example textures on a 2nd disc to install them to HD.

On the other hand does Microsoft not have some rule where all games must be playable from Disc? Cos of the 4GB Xbox Models? I might be wrong here.
