Pop is considered music now?

Quite frankly, I would be surprised if these new artists were given any sort of attention in this game. Holding out hope.

My god, some of you have absolutely no idea about R* do you? They're not going to put ANY of this **** in their game. You don't have to work for them to know that.

Because GTA V was being developed at the times those lady gaga and katy perry songs came out. And explain the songs that came out just a couple of years before GTA IV. like Buju banton "Driver" which came out in 2006, Raheem DeVaughn "You" came out in 2005, and R. Kelly's "Bump n' Grind" which came out a whopping 14 years ago in 1994. why are those in GTA IV then?

wow you havent got a clue

two rnb songs and a rasta song in gta4 is somehow evidence that lady gaga is going to be in gta5

there is this little thing called LICENSING that rockstar has to deal with and you seem completely oblivious to

now i dont know if you have ever listened to a radio before, but not all the songs are from yesterday, they do mix it up a bit

i think the reason rockstar mixes it up is because not only do they have licensing and time period to contend with

they have the fans

the gta fans

now please, if you would, let me know

why in the blue f*** would rockstar put lady f***ing gaga in a gta game (for a lot of money, mind you) when almost all of the fans are going to hate it? please allow me to see the logic you've cooked up here because it seems very interesting

Music can sometimes make a GTA game (VC for example), but it will never break the game.

People seem to regularly confuse the work "broken" with "mildly irritating" these days.

I don't particularly mind any style of music in GTA. Some songs I would find horrible outside of the game can actually be really cool set to chases and whatnot.

And yeah, no music would "break the game." Don't like a song, change the station.

What was that horrible string of words set to synth music a couple years ago? Friday?

Looking forward to the weekend, weekend?
