Personally I hope RS makes this up to us and we get more than just ****ing Los Santos and get the real San Andreas deal, which would mean the inclusion of San Fierro and Las Venturas. Not saying they should make them now, I mean I really hope they surprise us in the end and they turn out to be in after all. Considering Rockstar and their word lately, we can only hope this is the case lol.
I mean, for christs sake, if they took this damn long, I damn well hope they're in. I appreciate the dedication to detail and depth they're taking to make Santos more alive but at the end of day it gets old with just one city in a GTA game. People enjoyed SA so much for the multiple cities, no one thought it was great because Santos was in after all.
The Jess Margera Rock Radio Show 7PM-8PM EST every Wednesday night on PoochFM.com
If I want to listen to music ill just throw on my iPod, If I want to play a game ill just throw on GTAV
You cant throw GTA V on. Probably not until 2014
NO...really?? It was a response to a question referring to the future soundtrack of GTAV. Meaning after the game drops and the TC hears the soundtrack line up and if it suits his needs he will then buy the game. Now back to my comment saying to TC's future self "If I want to listen to music ill just throw on my iPod, If I want to play a game ill just throw on GTAV"
The radio stations in GTA play a decent part immersing us in the GTA world
Exactly. Which was one of the reasons I grasped onto Vice City and San Andreas so quickly. The former had the perfect 80's synth' sound that has become characterized as part of the era (Driver reminded me a lot of VC, if only for the soundtrack), and San Andreas immortalized the entire world of GTA through it's 90s hit. Driving through the countryside? put on K-DST The Dust. The classic rock in this game was mind blowing....
Running away from the cops? Turn on Radio X. Chilling in Los Santos popping caps? Radio Los Santos has it for you.
Holy hell, I need to find this game and play it, pronto.
And then the real hero showed up. http://i47.tinypic.com/1z5ovpw.jpg
JNR is a great station for cop chases, as is LCHC and Liberty Rock Radio.
Radio Broker was pretty awesome if you ask me. They made it as a sort-of-underground-but-a-bit-more-popular station, and a few of the bands featured all the way back in 2008 have really hit it big now. Nice going there, Rockstar!
The funk station and The Journey are also great in GTA IV.
I think people who say GTA IV's radio sucked just have very, VERY narrow tastes. A true musician respects any genre and will give anything at least a chance.
I don't remember the stations, but GTA IV also had some ballin' hip-hop.
