So, I know everybody is bummed about the delay. I also know that the wait until September might be excrutiating for some folks, so I came up with a little something to help things out. We all want to play a new GTA, but since we have to wait for the official new game, I thought that maybe we could create our own GTA game right here!

The premise is simple: We each contribute to a text based GTA game that will be here on the boards. Things like characters, the city it takes place in, mission ideas, etc. will all be created by us and then put together into a one, hopefully entertaining and distracting, experience. I figure this thread can be used for planning and I'll create a new thread for the actual game, but if people like the idea and want to do it in this thread, that's cool.

I've got some character ideas I might post later, but for now I just want to see if this idea resonates with anybody.

Battle Cats on the andriod and ios. Trust me if your bored right now DL battle cats! This game seriously rocks. I cant stop playing it.

After playing Far Cry 3, I think missions were the player character is f***** up are fun to play.

one weird trick to curing bordom is battle cats. my gf showed me this game and i thought gawd this is gonna suck but its actaully really good.

This kind of reminds me of the Fun Stories of San Andreas from the SA board in 08. We can do that if you'd rather.

Hell, we did 'Wipes Brown' (was that this board XD) and THAT worked... up until 500.

I think that's the original. There's 4 topics including that one if you search "fun stories" on the SA PS2 board. There's another 4 under "FSoSA". Basically just an anything goes sort of deal. It's meant to be funny but at the same time all the members stories kind of have to coincide. I don't know if we could do a FSoGTA5 since we only know a handful of characters, but FSoVC, FSoSA, or FSoLC might work. Up to you guys.

On a side note, that topic really takes me back. Season 1 was the best season imo. The later seasons kind of took on an RPG feeling. Not that that's a bad thing. This was back when this account was my brother's, lol. He let me start using it around September 08.
